JOHANNESBURG - DA Gauteng Leader Solly Msimanga says incidents in the Ekurhuleni council are not how South Africans should view coalitions in the country.
This follows a tumultuous two weeks in the council that ended with DA Mayor Tania Campbell being re-elected to her position.
Campbell was removed as mayor after the ANC tabled a motion of no confidence against her. Disagreements between the ANC and the EFF collapsed the ANC's plans.
Meanwhile, according to Msimanga, another vote of no-confidence in Campbell cannot be held for the next three months.
