WATCH | Clean water for Hammanskraal...soon

PRETORIA - It's come at a heavy price But the cooperation between the city of Tshwane and national government to provide residents of Hammanskraal with clean drinking water is finally bearing fruit.

Water and Sanitation Minister Pemmy Majodina paid a visit to the newly constructed Klipdrift water treatment facility, set to start operating in October.

Unsafe drinking water during Hammanskral's longstanding crisis led to the outbreak of cholera, which claimed the lives of 30 people.
