It’s not clear what could have caused the crash, and the reason behind it is unknown.
The ACDP and Freedom Front Plus say this is not a good image for the Electoral Commission.
The IEC says the system is operational, and its local officers continue to capture the results.
Meanwhile, over 50% of the votes are already counted.
