Tremor hits parts of Johannesburg and West Rand

JOHANNEBURG - Another tremor hit Gauteng last night.

This time in parts of Soweto and Roodepoort.

Quake monitors have placed it at a magnitude of 3.0

Communities felt the quake at around 9:25 last night.

South Africa has been reporting a number of tremors in recent months.

In August, a 3.2 magnitude tremor was felt in the west of Johannesburg

In June, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake was felt across many parts of Gauteng but mostly in Boksburg.
