SOWETO - "We will take away their permits if we must." That's the warning from Gauteng Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, as tensions between two rival Soweto taxi associations boil over once again.

WATCH | Taxi route fights continue in Soweto

The Nancefield Dube West Association (NANDUWE) and Witwatersrand African Taxi Association (WATA) have been locked in a bitter feud over routes for years and there’s still no end in sight.

The latest flare-up follows a court ruling reinstating WATA's rights to the contested routes.

eNCA's Manqoba Mchunu files the story.
