Suspected cattle thieves caught in KZN

JOHANNESBURG - A gang of alleged cattle thieves has been intercepted by a security company on the N2 near Winklespruit in KwaZulu-Natal.

One suspect was shot dead after opening fire on security teams.

Slaughtered cows were found in the bakkie they were travelling in. Small-scale farmers have been targeted for months.
