SA's first black female nuclear scientist Senamile Masango remembered

DUBAI - Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and it seems apt to pay tribute to South Africa's first black female nuclear scientist, Senamile Masango.

Dubbed the Queen of Science, Masango died on Sunday at the age of 37.

She’s been described as a trailblazer who set out to inspire young women.

Masango was the first African woman to work at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research.
