DURBAN - Transport and traffic authorities have set up a satellite base in Van Reenen on the N3 in anticipation of more snowfall.

KwaZulu-Natal transport MEC Siboniso Duma says their main priority is to ensure road safety.

Traffic officers are being deployed to all major routes, while graders will be on standby and available to clear any potential blockages.
