Road to Elections Town Hall Debate | 'There is nothing convincing the youth to vote'

MAKHANDA - Nothing that political parties have said ahead of next month’s elections is convincing the youth, that is the view of Rhodes SRC president, Simphiwe Mnyande.

Speaking at the eNCA’s Road to Elections debate, he challenged political leaders to implement the ideas that have always been promised.

The IEC announced that 27.73-million South africans have registered to vote.

There is over 13 million more eligible voters who’ve opted to not register.

Rhodes SRC president Simphiwe Mnyande said, "They’re not convincing us why the youth must vote."
