JOHANNESBURG - Electricity minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa continued his tour of power stations on Thursday.
He visited the Lethabo power station in the Free State, one of the country's best-performing stations.
Ramokgopa says Lethabo has consistently performed well since its build was completed in 1990 and is a model for others to follow.
"The minimum request we placed on them, please don't go below what you are giving us, that will be our measure of their performance."
"You have set a standard, this is the minimum floor for you and then others can look up to you so they are aspirational and they want to go to the levels of Lethabo."
