JOHANNESBURG - The number of Mpox cases in the country has risen to 20.
This is after four more cases have been confirmed in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal in the last few days.
There is good news for those contracting the disease as about 15 patients have been given a clean bill of health.
The remaining five others remain in hospital due to complications caused by underlying conditions.
The department says the recovery of so many shows Mpox is a treatable disease.
It is urging anyone with symptoms or those who have come into contact with a positive person to seek medical help.
