Manhunt underway after 2 CT cops shot and wounded

CAPE TOWN - A manhunt is underway for suspects who ambushed and shot two police officers at a traffic light in Khayelitsha on Friday.

The two off-duty constables were headed home in a marked police car when they were shot at.

They are both recovering in hospital while the suspects are still on the run.

Police are calling on anyone with information to come forward.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway after an 11-year-old boy, and a 42-year-old man were killed in a gang-related shooting in Lavender Hill.
