KZN budget | All departments to pay for crime fight

DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube is forcing every department to cough up R10-million to fight crime.

But, there's a concern as to what this will mean for their budgets.

The premier made the announcement during her provincial budget presentation.

She also announced that the Zulu Royal House has been allocated about R12-million more than last year.

The office of the Premier is getting almost a billion rand.

Other budget items include over R100-million for the KZN Youth Fund over R2-billion for rebuilding infrastructure damaged by floods.
