Joburg residents forced to dig deeper due to costs of living

JOHANNESBURG - Life is about to get a lot harder and more expensive for Johannesburg residents.

Rates and taxes and other services are being hiked from July and the city says it has no choice.

And to make matters worse, the double digit increases come at a time when the long standing problem of revenue collection, is still unresolved.
