JAGERSFONTEIN - A month after the deadly dam wall burst in Jagersfontein, community members are calling for the mine to be shut down.
Disgruntled residents took their frustrations to the mine's owner's doorstep to hand over a memorandum.

They accuse the mine of failing to comply with regulations and putting their lives at risk.
They are also accusing government of failing to ensure accountability.

Two people died and hundreds were left destitute after the mine dam wall collapsed last month.
The community has given the mine seven days to respond.
