JOHANNESBURG - Save the Children SA says South Africa must stop normalising violence and abuse.
The organisation says violence is a learned behaviour.
It says ending violence at home and school will stop the cycle.
"Research has shown that violence is definitely a learned behaviour and it shows that children who grow up in households characterised by violence are more likely to normalise violence in their relationships later in life," said Banele Senatla from Save The Children SA.
