Foot and Mouth Disease Outbreak | Ban on cattle movement in Amajuba

DURBAN - An urgent vaccination campaign has been launched in northern KwaZulu-Natal,
to curb the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.

Amajuba district has confirmed an outbreak after positive cases were detected in Newcastle.

Now there's a ban in place, restricting the movement of the cattle in and out of the district, until further notice.

Farmers affected are frustrated with recurring outbreaks.
