CAPE TOWN - Cape Town’s popular Fish Hoek beach has been reopened.
It was closed due to safety concerns over overflowing sewerage.
The City of Cape Town says tests show water quality is within the minimum requirement for recreational activities.
Signs warning people that the water is unfit for swimming have been removed.
Muizenberg beach has also been reopened after a sewer overflow in the area was cleared.
The City says the beaches were only closed as a precautionary measure.
