JOHANNESBURG - Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has announced plans to restructure the Eskom board.
He met with board members whose term expired in 2021, and was extended, subject to a review.
The move comes as the utility faces criticism from all quarters.

This week, President Cyril Ramaphosa admitted that power cuts will be with us for a while yet.
The President says the immediate goal is to reduce the frequency and severity of rolling blackouts.
Meanwhile, Gordhan says Government will soon deliberate on a new Eskom Board, and an announcement will be made in due course.
