JOHANNESBURG - Diepsloot residents plan to intensify protests until President Cyril Ramaphosa shows up.

They're upset over high crime rates in the area.

It was triggered by the murder of a former CPF chair after he stepped in to stop a robbery.

Protests turned violent on Wednesday as foreign-own businesses were targeted and shops destroyed.

Residents maintain undocumented people are responsible for high crime rates in the area.
