JOHANNESBURG - There is been a surge in gang violence in parts of the Western Cape over the past few weeks.
Law enforcement agencies have met with Community Policing Forums to address the scourge.
However, despite guns and drugs being confiscated, there seems to be an endless supply.

Residents of Hanover Park, Manenberg, Lavender Hill and Ottery are worried turf wars will continue as schools reopen placing children in harm’s way.
Some have already been shot over the school holidays.
