JOHANNESBURG - Bedfordview in Ekurhuleni has been experiencing water shortages for up to nine days due to Rand Water supply issues.
There's been little to no clarity or accountability from the bulk supplier.
The City of Ekurhuleni says Rand Water struggled to restore supply after completion of a water leak to the city's Signal Hill reservoir.
A group of angry residents are out in the streets to vent their frustrations.
Meanwhile Ekurhuleni MMC for Water and Sanitation Thembi Msane says Rand Water must account for what happened
She said the bulk supplier for failing to communicate on water supply, leaving residents in the dark.
- eNCA's Pule Letshwiti-Jones has more details.
