ANC NEC meet in Boksburg

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC NEC is sitting this weekend to discuss issues including illegal mining and other crimes, the economy, next year's election and the upcoming BRICS summit.

ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula also said the Phala-Phala and Digital Vibes reports must be discussed in the presence of ANC Integrity Committee chairperson, Frank Chikane.

The meeting will continue in Boksburg.

The discussion into illegal mining follows the tragic incident in Angelo informal settlement in Boksburg where a gas leak claimed the lives of 17 people.

Mbalula has also assigned Gauteng Provincial Secretary, TK Ngciza to urgently look into the crises brewing between the EFF and ANC in Ekurhuleni over their coalition agreement.
