JOHANNESBURG - The Independent Electoral Commission says its ready to manage the 2024 general elections.
The commission says it's now published an election timetable which outlines all key cut-off-times for the performance of salient activities.
The IEC says voter verification as well as other validations are underway to ensure compliance with provisions of the law in respect of eligible voter.
Over 23,000 voting stations will be availed for inspection from 12 April.
The IEC says provisions will be made for special voters in the country two days before the elections.
Special voters' applications will close on 3 May.
And for those voting outside the country, special voting at diplomatic missions will happen on 17 or 18 May.
