IFP affirms its position amid GNU tensions

PARLIAMENT - Despite tension within the Government of National Unity, the IFP remains clear in its support for the budget and VAT increase.

Party leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa, says the party is not here to be used or take sides but to ensure proper governance and quality service delivery.

The party held a briefing on Monday to make its position on this and other matters clear.

Hlabisa also spoke with eNCA after the briefing to reiterate the party's position amid government tensions.
