JOHANNESBURG - The Border Management Authority is tightening the net in Beitbridge.

South Africa's border with Zimbabwe is a notorious hotspot for illegal immigration.

The BMA says more guards and drones have been deployed to monitor vulnerable segments of the border.

The authority expects many to attempt to cross the border illegally as they return from their homes north of South Africa's busiest land port of entry.
