JOHANNESBURG - Hundreds of people have been arrested at the Beitbridge border post trying to enter South Africa illegally.
Traffic volumes at ports of entry are expected to increase in the coming days.

BMA Commissioner, Mike Masiapato, says they saw a significant increase in the number of people crossing the border, forcing many to wait it out in the blazing sun.
"We really got a surge in people that had been coming through into the country," he said.
