JOHANNESBURG - The state’s case against two men and a woman connected to the murder of Eldorado Park teenager Nathaniel Julies resumed.
Caylene Whitebooi and Simon Ndyalvane both face murder charges, while Vorster Netshiongolo faces lesser charges.
The 16-year-old Julies, who lived with Down’s Syndrome, was shot and killed by police in August 2020.
The cross-examination of Ndyalvane continued, with lively exchanges between the former police officer and prosecutor Johan Badenhorst.
Ndyalvane maintained that all the incidents recorded when he drew his gun in crowds was him following lockdown regulations.
The matter continues.
