The jobs emergency | Only economic growth will create more jobs

JOHANNESBURG - It's generally agreed that without economic growth, job creation will remain a serious challenge for South Africa.

Statistics show that unemployment has increased to over 33 percent, with youth unemployment standing at 60.8 percent.

Minister in the Presidency responsible for youth Sindisiwe Chikunga says government is doing all it can to grow the economy.

She addressed a National Youth Development Agency meeting in Johannesburg.
