Final phase of Rand Water maintenance programme kicks off

JOHANNESBURG - The final phase of Rand Water’s maintenance programme gets underway on Monday.

This extensive infrastructure maintenance project has been running for the past three weeks in several areas in Gauteng.

The province has become the most populous in the country, and Rand Water says it's necessary to keep up with demand and planning for the future.

The next phase will start at the Palmiet Pumping Station, which will affect supply.
