Family welcomes inquest into Albert Luthuli's death

JOHANNESBURG - Reopening the inquest into Chief Albert Luthuli's death has been welcomed by his family.

Prosecutors in KwaZulu-Natal made the judgement, and the High Court in Pietermaritzburg will begin hearings on Monday.

The ANC was led by Luthuli at the time of his death in 1967. 

According to official sources at the time, a cargo train struck him. However, his family has a different opinion.
