The Best escape | Thabo Bester claims his co-accused are innocent

JOHANNESBURG - It’s the story that movies are made of, and it gets more and more dramatic with each court appearance.  

But, nothing could have prepared us for the latest Thabo Bester rant in court.

He pleaded for the death penalty and an end to what is bound to be a marathon court case.

Bester and his alleged partner in love and crime, Nandipha Magudumana, were back in court this week.

The matter will be back in court on 24 July for yet another attempt at a pre-trial conference.
