CAPE TOWN - The Patriotic Alliance is promising to restore law and order if voted into power.
Party leader Gayton McKenzie addressed thousands at a rally at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
He's promising to reserve jobs for South Africans, the death penalty for murderers, and strict border control.

He’s also lambasted the DA for questioning the PA's motive for campaigning in the Western Cape.
The party says it’s not opposed to working with either the DA or the ANC, as it has done before in some municipalities in the country, but it's still considering its options to see which other parties agree with their ideologies.
