JOHANNESBURG - eNCA can now project that for the first time in our democratic history, the ANC will fall below the 50 percent mark in a national election.
The party is likely to fall on the 45 percent mark.
Our election analyst Wayne Sussman is using the eNCA E-projector.
He said the DA will remain the official opposition in South Africa.
"When it comes to the third place, right now we're not yet ready to make that projection because uMkhonto we Sizwe is overperforming in places like KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Gauteng," Sussman said.
"We are still waiting on more returns from Limpopo where the EFF is strong."
