JOHANNESBURG - South African singer and songwriter Bahatii Sithole has faced many challenges in her life, but she has always found solace in music.
Born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal Sithole’s passion for singing began in church and school choirs, later shaping her into the soulful artist she is today.
Bahatii has released a new single, Free My Mind, inspired by her personal struggles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The artist revealed that she faced hardships, including losing her home and job during the crisis.
“The song came after the storm,” Sithole explained, reflecting on how music became her refuge during difficult times.
