JOHANNESBURG- Moja Love has made a U-turn.
This as the channel announced the return of Xolani Khumalo. He is well-known for raiding drug-infested areas as the presenter of Sizok'thola season 4.
The announcement comes after murder charges against Khumalo were withdrawn at the Palm Ridge Magistrate court on Monday.
He faced charges of murder, robbery and malicious damage to property dating back to an incident in 2023. Alleged drug dealer Robert Varrie, died during the filming of the show.
Moja Love initially parted ways with Khumalo after raising concerns over the incident.
The channel at the time said, "His knowledge and involvement in the unlawful incidents that led to the possible contamination of crime scenes, failed prosecutions of known drug lords and unfortunate tragedies that followed the filming of certain episodes".
However, the two have now seemingly mended their relationship.
Moja Love head of the channel Livhuwani Dagada says Khumalo's return will strengthen the channel's commitment to raising awareness of the plight of drugs and its impact in the community.
Khumalo says he was grateful for the return of his show.
"I have had an opportunity to reflect and I look forward to reconnecting with the amazing viewers and showcasing my talent to Mzansi," he said.
