WATCH | World Lion Day | SA prides need protection for future generations

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - Saturday, 10 August marks World Lion Day, to highlight the plight faced by the endangered species globally.

The Endangered Wildlife Trust and SANParks are embarking on an ambitious project,
to count and record each and every lion in Kruger National Park.

The aim of this research project is to establish and keep accurate, up to date figures of the big cat population.
