Durban beaches open for business

DURBAN - Some of Durban’s beaches have been reopened and that’s good enough for the many people descending on the city’s shores for some summer fun in the sun.

Of course, not everyone is as optimistic.

Both the Democratic Alliance and Action SA are warning that e.coli levels remain unacceptably high.

The damage led to raw sewage spilling into the ocean and forced the closure of several beaches.
