African Rail Association welcomes R5 billion Transnet loan

JOHANNESBURG - The African Rail Industry Association has welcomed the five billion rand loan granted to Transnet.

The Association says this is a crucial investment towards the long-needed recovery and modernisation of South Africa’s rail network.

Around R150 billion is required to fully restore our rail network.
