DUBAI - South Africa's Just Energy Transition will be long, costly and sometimes challenging.
That's according to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He's been addressing world leaders at the G77 and China Leaders' summit at Cop28 in Dubai.
The President presented South's Africa's just energy transition action plan to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
It's designed to move the country from heavy reliance on fossil fuels, particularly coal.
