WATCH | CSIR to broaden, commercialise its technological advances

JOHANNESBURG - The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research is looking to broaden, and commercialise its technological advances.

The CSIR aims to use some of its ground-breaking innovations to help tackle crime, climate change, agriculture and even the country's porous borders.

This will be done through a new entity at the CSIR, set up to solve some of South Africa’s pressing problems.
