WATCH | Warrant Officer commended for bringing serial rapist to justice

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa continues to suffer from an epidemic of gender-based violence.

This month, serial rapist Nkosinathi Phakathi was sentenced to 791 years and 6 months of direct imprisonment by the Pretoria High Court.

Phakathi will also serve 42 life terms for his string of violent sexual crimes in and around Ekurhuleni.
