WATCH | Three Gauteng men nabbed for kidnapping and extortion in CT

CAPE TOWN - Three men from Soweto appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates court today on charges of kidnapping and extortion.

The victim was attacked at an Air BnB in Woodstock, Cape Town on Friday.
Swift action by a multi-disciplinary kidnapping task team led to the arrest of the men.

The trio are believed to be part of a wider syndicate operating across South Africa, targeting especially those using the Grinder dating App.
