WATCH | Suspected food poisoning at Ngaqa primary school

KZN - Two cases of food poisoning have been reported, this time in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

43 pupils at Ngaqa Primary School in  Mtubatuba fell ill after allegedly consuming snacks from a vendor outside the school premises.

Six of the children were rushed to a local clinic.

In another incident at Zitike Primary School, also in Mtubatuba, more than 20 pupils fell ill after also allegedly eating food that was bought from vendors outside the school.

On Tuesday, inspections were conducted at local supermarkets.
