JOHANNESBURG - The KwaZulu-Natal government is scrambling to relocate flood victims before Christmas.

Some residents in Pietermaritzburg oppose the construction of temporary housing units in their neighbourhood.

Residents of Bombay Heights accuse Umsunduzi Municipality of rushing the process and wanting to dump flood victims in what they call unsafe housing.
