JOHANNESBURG - Water and Sanitation Minister Pemmy Majodina says Gauteng is not yet at a disaster stage.
Majodina says the province will remain on Level One throttling and may have water until December if residents adhere to restrictions.
Fixing water infrastructure has become more urgent.
At the same time, the City of Johannesburg is trying to raise more funds to address the looming crisis.
Mayor Dada Morero says the city's revenue is lost to leaks and illegal connections.
