JOHANNESBURG - Rains are expected to persist this week in and around Johannesburg.
The city’s emergency services are on standby for potential flooding.
Traffic is anticipated to be affected since roads are slippery and traffic and traffic lights not working across the city.
JMPD Spokesperson, Xolani Fihla said, "It is important for the motorist also to be aware of areas that are prone to flooding and to avoid those areas if the roads are extremely flooded."
