JOHANNESBURG - Africa has a busy elections calendar in 2024, with 19 countries slated for presidential or general elections.
Online influence and coordinated disinformation campaigns are rife during elections. So the Association of African Election Authorities, together with the South Africa's IEC, has launched guidelines for the use of digital and social media in elections in Africa.
