JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says they are working hard to end the crisis of blackouts.
In his address to usher in the New Year, Ramaphosa says an increase in the amount of renewable energy on the grid will steadily reduce the need for power cuts.
The president also says there have been significant strides in the fight against corruption, poverty and inequality, as well as the country's other challenges of unemployment, crime and gender-based violence.
