JOHANNESBURG - Coming into the new year, South Africa had a bit of break from planned power cuts.
The National Rationalised Specifications Association of South Africa says uninterrupted electricity supply will not last indefinitely, as demand will soon increase.
Chairperson, Vally Padayachee, says the continuous supply of electricity is due to large energy consuming industries being closed for the holiday season.
Padayachee is a former executive manager at Eskom and former senior executive at City Power.
